Indo-Dutch Semiconductor School 2026
Track 1 – Foundational Semiconductor Track | 23 November – 11 December 2026
Track 2 – Advanced Track | 14 – 18 December 2026
About the Programme
The Indo-Dutch Semiconductor School 2026 aims to strengthen semiconductor talent development and knowledge cooperation between India and the Netherlands by bringing together leading universities, industry and government through a high-quality online education programme for Master's and PhD students. It is expected that 200 Master’s and PhD students from six leading technical institutions in India will participate in the programme.
The 2026 programme builds on the successful Indo-Dutch Semiconductor School 2024, which demonstrated strong demand, high participant satisfaction, and broad interest across the semiconductor ecosystem.
The Foundational Track is a self-paced online programme (2-4 hours), designed to provide participants with a common foundation before progressing to more advanced content. It will also serve as a preparatory learning component for participants and alumni of the Netherlands-Southeast Asia semiconductor Talent Programme. Topics include semiconductor fundamentals, semiconductor ecosystems, value chains, and global industry developments.
The Advanced Track (10-14 hours) is designed to enable participants to develop in-depth technical knowledge while interacting with Dutch experts, universities, and industry partners. (Indicative) topics include Challenges in Chip Design; Sensors, Microsystems & Healthcare; Future Materials for Chip Technology; The Most Complex Human-Built Machine in the World; Sustainable Nanotechnology; Energy Transition & Power Electronics; Brain-Inspired Electronics; and Optics & Photonics.
The programme contributes to the broader Netherlands-India semiconductor partnership and supports the objectives of the Dutch Beethoven Programme by developing future semiconductor talent and strengthening long-term knowledge cooperation between India and the Netherlands.
The programme is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to India and coordinated by Nuffic Southeast Asia in close collaboration with the High-Tech Universities of the Netherlands and the BrainBridge partners.
