A study on the international experience (credit mobility and digital international collaboration) of higher education graduates from 2020–2022. We examined who participated, how accessible an international experience was, why graduates took part, and where they went. We also explored what graduates learned from an international experience and what the benefits were on the labour market.  

Een onderzoek naar de houding van werkgevers in Nederland ten opzichte van het aannemen van internationale afgestudeerden aan de hand van enquête- en interviewgegevens/ focusgroep gesprekken. Met dit onderzoek kijken we naar de waargenomen voordelen, nadelen en behoeften van werkgevers ten aanzien van hogeronderwijsinstellingen en de overheid.

This study examines employers’ attitudes towards hiring international graduates in the Netherlands, using survey and focusgroup/interview data. With this study, we look into the perceived advantages, disadvantages and employers’ needs from universities and the government.

In this report, we examine the stay rate of international graduates within 5 years after graduation using national registry data. The study covers graduation cohorts from 2013–14 to 2022–23 and examines, among other things, their labour market position.

Een onderzoek naar de internationale ervaring (studiepuntmobiliteit en digitale internationale samenwerkingen) van ho-afgestudeerden uit 2020-22. We onderzochten wie er deelnamen, hoe toegankelijk een internationale ervaring was, waarom afgestudeerden deelnamen en waar ze naartoe gingen. Ook onderzochten we wat afgestudeerden van een internationale ervaring leerden en wat de voordelen op de arbeidsmarkt waren.

As micro-credentials gain traction in European education and beyond, the recognition of certificates of such short learning experiences becomes a pertinent issue. As a response to this need, Nuffic launched an open, online tool to evaluate the quality of micro-credential certificates in 2022: the Micro-Evaluator. 

In dit rapport onderzoeken we de stayrate van internationale afgestudeerden binnen een periode van 5 jaar na hun afstuderen met behulp van landelijke registergegevens. Het onderzoek omvat afstudeercohorten 2013-14 tot en met 2022-23 en onder andere hun arbeidsmarktpositie is onderzocht.

This study focuses on the reasons why Dutch students do not often choose to pursue a full degree abroad and what might encourage them to do so. It also provides an overview of the obstacles faced by students who wish to study abroad, as well as what could help them overcome these challenges.
