Summary for the academic year 2022-2023
- At universities of applied sciences, the field of Language & Culture had the highest relative share of international students (37%) in 2022. In absolute terms, Economics had the most international students enrolled with 16.1 thousand.
- At research universities, Interdisciplinary programmes had the highest relative share of international students (50%). In absolute terms, the field of Behavioural & Social Sciences had the most international students enrolled with 17.9 thousand.
- The most popular study programme among international students is Psychology, followed by International Business, and Economics & Business Economics.
