- Almost 26% of international graduates stays in the Netherlands 5 years after graduation. Most of them have found a paid job position by then. Graduates of recent years stay more often than those who graduated before 2018.
- Research university graduates stay more often than university of applied science graduates. For example, all education students graduated at a research university compared to more than half of the education students graduated at a university of applied science stay in the Netherlands.
- Almost 4 in 10 international graduates who work in the Netherlands 5 years after graduation are employed in the labour market region of Groot Amsterdam
