Attestat ob osnovnom obshchem obrazovanii – Аттестат об основном общем образовании

  • Comparable to: 3 years general secondary education.
  • Duration of schooling: 9 years (4+5 years).
  • Type of education: lower general secondary education.
  • Purpose of diploma: admission to upper general secondary education or to secondary vocational education.

Attestat o srednem obshchem obrazovanii – Аттестат о cреднем oбщем oбразовании

  • Comparable to: at least a HAVO diploma (NLQF 4/EQF 4).
  • Duration of schooling: 2 years.
  • Type of education: upper general secondary education.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to the labour market, to secondary vocational education and higher education.

Diplom o srednem professionalnom obrazovanii – Диплом о среднем профессиональном образовании of the 2nd level

  • Comparable to: a HAVO diploma for the general education component (NLQF 4/EQF 4).
  • Duration of schooling: 3 to 4½ years (after 9 years of education) or 2 to 3 years (after 11 years of education).
  • Type of education: secondary vocational education.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to the labour market and to higher education in the same specialisation .

Diplom bakalavra – Диплом бакалавра

  • Comparable to: an HBO or a WO bachelor’s degree (NLQF 6/EQF 6).
  • Duration of schooling: 4 years.
  • Type of education: professional or research-oriented.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to master programmes (Magistr).

Diplom specialista – Диплом специалиста (5 years)

  • Comparable to: a WO bachelor's degree (NLQF 6/EQF 6) or an HBO master’s degree (NLQF 7/EQF 7).
  • Duration of schooling: 5 years.
  • Type of education: professional or research-oriented.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to doctorate programmes (Kandidat Nauk).

Diplom magistra – Диплом магистра

  • Comparable to: an HBO or a WO master’s degree (NLQF 7/EQF 7).
  • Duration of schooling: 1 to 2 years.
  • Type of education: professional or research-oriented.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to doctorate programmes (Kandidat Nauk).
