The future is Orange

This session is part of the Orange Knowledge Partner Days.
Description
The Orange Knowledge Programme has a strong foundation with the 4 priority themes we all know:
- Food and nutrition security
- Water, energy and climate
- Sexual and reproductive health and rights
- Security and the rule of law
But with the changes in the world around us, we have seen new challenges and cross-cutting themes emerge.
In this session we will explore how the knowledge sector can contribute to a few of these themes:
- Climate
- Migration
- Youth
- Digitalisation
More specifically, we will look at options to incorporate these themes in the existing capacity development framework.
The session will be hosted by us, with contributions from several partners.
Target audience
We especially invite partners with a keen interest in topics such as Climate, Migration, Youth and Digitalisation.
Participants will be asked to join the discussion on how to integrate these emerging issues in the current priority themes. We will also ask you to reflect on how this will influence your existing capacity development activities.
Session outcome
You will exhange ideas with partner organisations that are interested in developing new strategies for the future, all within the framework of the programme. This knowledge exchange will also be helpful in reviewing the existing instruments, regions and themes.
