Study High-Tech in the Netherlands

The Netherlands is home to one of Europe's most innovative high-tech ecosystems, offering world-class education in fields such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, robotics, photonics, quantum technology, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable engineering.

Previously operating as a Nuffic Neso office, Nuffic Southeast Asia has a long history of organising Dutch-focused study fairs for students interested in pursuing their studies in the Netherlands. Building on this experience, HiTechinNL shifts the focus from Dutch higher education in general to the Netherlands' strengths in high-tech education and innovation.

Each year, Nuffic Southeast Asia hosts Study High-Tech in NL, a dedicated study fair that brings together 12 leading Dutch higher education institutions to showcase the wide range of high-tech study opportunities available in the Netherlands. The fair provides prospective students with the opportunity to meet university representatives, explore bachelor's, master's, and lifelong learning programmes, and learn more about studying and living in the Netherlands.

HiTechinNL 2025 was held on 7 November 2025 at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jakarta, bringing together 11 leading Dutch universities to showcase study opportunities in high-tech fields. The mini fair welcomed more than 260 prospective students, who explored programmes in semiconductors, engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other emerging technologies, while connecting directly with university representatives. The event was organised by Nuffic Southeast Asia as part of its efforts to strengthen academic ties between Indonesia and the Netherlands and promote the Netherlands as a leading destination for high-tech education.
