How do educational institutions assess study results in Argentina? And what documents do students receive when they have completed a study programme?
Secondary education study results
In secondary education, schools usually assess study results in the following way:

Higher education study results
Higher education institutions usually assess study results in the following way:

- the diploma; and
- the corresponding transcript.
Online register of university graduates
Students who graduated from an Argentinian university in 2012 or later are usually registered in the public register of university graduates: the registro público de graduados universitarios. You can check if a student is registered in the following way:
- Under ‘Tipo Documento’, select the type of document you are using to search for the student, such as a passport (pasaporte).
- Under ‘Número de Documento’, select the number on that document.
- Under ‘Apellido’, fill in the surname of the student.
- Under ‘Nombre’, fill in the first name of the student.
- Press enter.
- Does the student with the diploma appear in the search results? That means the diploma of this student is in order.
