NL Knowledge House

The NL Knowledge House is a networked form of collaboration that will facilitate the knowledge sector in the Netherlands and any partner countries, to act together and strengthen their collaboration. It offers services, information, and a platform to promote collaboration. Indonesia is the first pilot country of NL Knowledge, showcasing the nature of this collaboration. The milestone is evident with the launch of NL Knowledge House Indonesia in 2023.

WINNER 2023 1

WINNER is an annual recurring event initiated by the Dutch Embassy in Jakarta Nuffic Southeast Asia, the Indonesian Academy of Young Scientists (ALMI), the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and the Dutch Research Council (NOW), to bring together Indonesian and Dutch researchers, practitioners, educators and stakeholders from industry, government, and civil society with the aim to celebrate, strengthen and expand the collaborations in Dutch-Indonesian research and education.

EY4FC 1

This initiative aims to change how young people in Asia view farming and agricultural jobs. EY4FC consists of four key elements: events, success stories, a changemaker challenge, and navigating career paths.

Living Labs

This initiative is a student-centric research project based on real-life business issues. A consortium of Dutch and Indonesian universities of the NL Knowledge House was set up and in cooperation with corporate and government partners used student project results as a starting point for further research and development of tools and practices for both industry and government.

IMCD Awardee Ceremony

The Green Food Contest is a scholarship competition for talented students from six Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The contest is part of IMCD Cares, a programme of IMCD, a global leader in the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients. IMCD works in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore.

StuNed 1

As we transitioned from a Neso office to a regional hub, our focus expanded to include not only Southeast Asian students, but also alumni and diaspora communities across the region. We now manage a regional alumni platform for individuals from Southeast Asia who have studied, conducted research, or participated in any form of education in the Netherlands.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET): Since 2016, we have been collaborating with the Indonesian Government, selected vocational schools, and industry partners to strengthen vocational education, particularly in the field of agriculture.
