Connecting parties
"I am excited about taking on this role”, Huba explains. “Building on a strong platform of collaboration, I look forward to cocreate further opportunities for education and research between South Africa and the Netherlands and in so doing also contribute to knowledge exchange on the African continent.”
Upon his departure Mervin Bakker stated: "It is a strange time to say goodbye, because I am not able to meet the stakeholders and friends of Nuffic Neso South Africa in person to express my gratitude for the excellent collaboration over the past years. With Huba in charge, I am sure the very good collaboration will continue. With her experience, network and personality, she is the best successor I could wish for. For sure, also in my new role, I will remain an ambassador of the collaboration with South Africa.”
