Nuffic Connects: Enriching job application trainings with international competences

We start the session with a short explanation from a Nuffic researcher about international competences in starter vacancies (report is in Dutch). During a panel discussion with a representative of the labor market, a career services employee of an educational institution, a Dutch student and an international student you hear about their vision of international competences when applying for a job. Then you will get started with a reflection tool that you can immediately apply in your work with students after the session.

After this session you have met a number of goals, in particular:

• You will know how you can enrich the job application training courses at your educational institution with the discussion about international competences
• You are familiar with the importance of international competences on the labor market
• You know how you can use the international competencies reflection tool when offering career services within your institution
• You have heard more about the perspectives of the (Dutch and international) student and experts in the field
