Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School Scholarship (Vietnam)

Scholarship for Vietnamese students to attend Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School: Advancing Innovations in Electronics & Photonics at The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

Eindhoven

This scholarship aligns with the Netherlands’ strategic focus on advancing semiconductor expertise, a field gaining increasing importance globally. Southeast Asia—particularly Vietnam—is becoming a growing hub in the semiconductor industry. Supporting Vietnamese students to attend the Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School, strengthens individual capacity while fostering long-term academic and industrial collaboration in a priority sector for both regions.

As a leading knowledge institution of the semiconductors and photonics industry in the Netherlands, The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has spearheaded the organization of a summer school on Semiconductors and Photonics, together with academic and industrial partners since 2023.

TU/e will organize its third Semiconductor Summer School, from 25 to 29 August 2025. The program is packed with lectures and company visits to semiconductor world leading enterprises. Students will obtain insights of technology developments, opportunities to discuss with and learn from international professors and CEOs and meet peer students. The summer school will further enrich new collaborations and exchanges. The Dutch government will sponsor 5 (five) Vietnamese students with accommodation and local transport while the travel expenses (flights and insurance) will be covered by the home university to attend this summer school. The participation fee is covered by TU/e.

Upon completion of the Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School, each student will receive an official certificate of participation. Students will get access to an international network in the field of semiconductors & photonics and will have better job opportunities in this sector.
