School Leaving Certificate of an EPAS (level 3)

  • Comparable to: an MBO diploma level 2 or 3 (NLQF 2-3/EQF 2-3).
  • Duration of schooling: 2 years.
  • Type of education: vocational secondary education.
  • Purpose of diploma: admission to the 2nd year of vocational secondary education (EPAL) and to vocational education (Institouto Epaggelmatikis Katartisis).

School Leaving Certificate of an EPAL (level 3)

  • Comparable to: a HAVO diploma for the general education part (NLQF 4/EQF 4).
  • Duration of schooling: 3 years.
  • Type of education: general and vocational secondary education.
  • Purpose of diploma: admission to higher education, upon successful completion of entrance examinations (panellinies exetaseis), and admission to vocational education (Institouto Epaggelmatikis Katartisis).
