Secondary vocational education

In Ethiopia, secondary vocational education is part of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). There are 4 types of study programmes in Ethiopian secondary vocational education:

• 1-year study programmes at level 1 (TVET Certificate Level I);
• 2-year study programmes at level 2 (TVET Certificate Level II);
• 3-year study programmes at level 3 (TVET Certificate Level III);
• 3-year study programmes at level 4 (TVET Certificate Level IV).
