Within the community, participants share knowledge and experiences and work together to strengthen the quality and embedding of international and intercultural competences in the curriculum.

COIL VE is a form of education in which students and teachers collaborate internationally on projects online. In this way, they develop international, intercultural and digital skills within an international learning environment. As such, COIL VE also serves as a practical implementation of Internationalisation at Home (IaH).

Although COIL VE is a key focus of the community, COILectiVE NL also welcomes the exchange of knowledge and experiences on other forms of online international collaboration.

COILectiVE NL is a collaboration between Dutch vocational and higher education institutions, supported by Nuffic.

Become a member

After registering, you will be added to the COILectiVE NL Microsoft Teams community. In this community, we share information about upcoming events and you can connect with other members. You can also ask questions about COIL VE, exchange experiences and share materials.

COILectiVE NL is a national community of professionals from vocational education and higher education. The network focuses on sustainable quality development, embedding and expansion of COIL VE.

Cooperation is central to the community. Participants share knowledge and experiences, develop new approaches together and thereby strengthen the quality of COIL VE in education. The shared goal is to embed international and intercultural competences sustainably in education.

An important opportunity to meet is the annual COILectiVE NL Symposium. Here, professionals from across the country come together to exchange knowledge and share experiences.
