Week of the International Student 2020

During this week higher education institutions and vocational education and training institutions in the Netherlands put students with international experience in the spotlight.

Every year we celebrate the Week of the International Student around the Day of the International Student (17 November).

In 2020 the Week of the International Student will take place from Monday 16 until Saturday 21 November.

Highlights 2019

A big thank you to all of those who participated in last year's Week of the International Student (15-22 November 2019).

The theme of 2019 was: What are the benefits of international experience? Here are a few activities we would like to highlight to bring to your attention.

Together with a.o. Leiden University and MBO College Airport we made 4 podcasts in which students and experts shared their experiences on what it's like to live and study abroad. You can listen to these podcasts in our podcast overview.

The SportMarketing & Management Faculty of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences invited José Bonal of the Real Madrid Academy. He inspired their students by sharing his international experiences. In Zeeland at HZ University of applied Sciences, a fashion show got our attention. As well as the series of activities for both staff and students at Fontys and HAN.

We’re very happy that we could involve VET/mbo institutions, who made a great start this year. We do hope all the activities benefit to your work with staff and students and inspire them. We're looking forward to this year's Week of the International Student.
