NARIC Online Training Course (ongoing)
Participants are given ample opportunity to apply and discuss recognition methodology on actual cases. They receive feedback from the course moderator to ensure that the evaluation methodology is applied correctly.
As participants work both individually and in groups, the group work encourages transnational networking and information exchange by the new staff members of the ENIC-NARIC offices.
2020-2021 edition
In addition to the modules for beginning credential evaluators, we have introduced 2 new modules on specialised topics: automatic recognition in the European Education Area and a country module on Russia.
The 2020-2021 course has 7 modules concluded by a face-to-face day:
- Educational Systems
- Tools of the Trade used in the Recognition of International Qualifications
- Accreditation and Recognition
- Criteria and Procedures used in the Recognition of Foreign Qualifications
- Academic and Professional Recognition: the legal framework, networks, instruments and trends
- Country module: Russia
- Automatic Recognition and the European Education Area
The course includes many references to databases and websites, which participants are free to use during and after the course and which they may share with their colleagues.
Participants of the course will be able to apply the learned material in their daily work in dealing with higher education institutions, students, other recognition authorities and the public at large.
