International work placements

The top destination countries of outbound VET students doing a registered work placement. Most of them went to a country in the European Economic Area.


Summary

Most internationally mobile VET students who did an international work placement went to a country within the European Economic Area. Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom are the most popular destination countries.

Curaçao and the United States were the most popular non-European destination countries. Most students who did an international work placement are enrolled in a programme within the sectoral committee Food, Green and Hospitality. With 1,213 international work placements in, Manager/entrepreneur catering is the qualification that saw the greatest mobility.

Other qualifications with many international work placements are Nurse (general care) hospital (510) and Manager travel & hospitality (482).
