International competencies in vacancies

We need international competencies in order to learn, live and work in a diverse society and an internationally-oriented labour market. But which international competencies are relevant to the Dutch labour market and in what way?

To answer this question, we analysed over 31 thousand online vacancies advertising entry-level jobs for secondary Vocational Education and Training (VET, in Dutch: mbo) and higher education (HE) graduates.
