Summary

In the study year 2020-2021 a total number of 374 VET students went abroad with funding from the Erasmus+ programme. The most popular destination countries for Dutch Erasmus+ students were Spain (67), Belgium (66) and Germany (53).

In study year 2020-2021, 282 students from other European countries came to the Netherlands with funding from Erasmus+. The main sending countries are France (164), Germany (46), and the United Kingdom (7).
Note: both incoming and outgoing mobility numbers declined significantly due to travel restrictions because of covid.
