Junior High School Diploma (from 2017)

  • Purpose of diploma: access to upper secondary education (senior high school) and secondary vocational education.

High School Diploma (katibayan/katunayan) (until 2017)

  • Dutch comparison: VMBO-T diploma (NLQF 2/EQF 2).
  • Duration of schooling: 4 years.
  • Type of education: general secondary education.
  • Purpose of the diploma: access to secondary vocational education and until 2017 access to (the entrance examination for) higher education.

Associate
