  • Duration of schooling: 1 to 2 years.
  • Type of education: secondary vocational education.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to the final year of general secondary education (supplementary general education).

Vitnemål for Videregående Skole

  • Dutch comparison: VWO or HAVO diploma (NLQF 4+/4/EQF 4/4).
  • Duration of schooling: 3 years.
  • Type of education: upper general secondary education.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to higher education.

Høgskolekandidat (university college)

  • Dutch comparison: 2 years or Associate Degree (NLQF 5 / EQF 5).
