Standard X diploma: All India Secondary School Certificate/Indian Certificate of Secondary Education/Secondary School Certificate/Matriculation Certificate

  • Dutch comparison: VMBO-T diploma (NLQF* 2/EQF** 2).
  • Duration of schooling: 10 years.
  • Type of education: primary education and lower secondary general education.
  • Purpose of diploma: access to upper secondary general education and to vocational secondary education.

Vocational Diplomas and Certificates

  • Dutch comparison: MBO qualification level 2-4 diploma (NLQF 2-4/EQF 2-4).
  • Duration of schooling: 1 to 3 years.

Polytechnic Diploma after Standard X (Basic Diploma)
