Based on the evaluation of the Brazilian mobility programme Science without Borders (SwB) the Brazilian government is developing a new mobility programme to be called ‘Mais Ciencias, Mais desenvolvimento’ (More science, more development).

The new and smaller programme will be tailored to the needs of Brazilian universities with each university prioritising actions. The list of fundable actions will be defined in the coming months and a first call is expected to be launched in July 2017.

What does this mean for Dutch institutions?

We advise you to contact your Brazilian partner(s) to discuss your cooperation plans for the coming years. We hope that the cooperation set up in the past years between Dutch and Brazilian institutions will continue to grow with support of this programme. If you are looking for cooperation partners in Brazil, Nuffic Neso Brazil can also help you in the process of finding the right institutions.
