Read the latest information on our page about the coronavirus.

“The coronavirus (COVID-19) has a worldwide impact, on all of us and certainly also for the internationalisation and international cooperation in education.

We are very aware that these developments irrespective of nationality are of great concern to all students, pupils, teachers and staff in all educational sectors.

The Dutch government has taken far-reaching measures. Dutch government agencies continuously provide information and advice. Nuffic follows the advice and measures of the Dutch government. We are in constant contact with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission, as well as with the relevant educational umbrella organisations. On a daily basis, we also are in contact with our colleagues of the Netherlands Education Support Offices.

Until April 6, all Nuffic events in the Netherlands and abroad will be postponed. There is still no clarity about the period after April 6. We continuously monitor the situation and bundle the relevant information via our channels such as Nuffic staff now mainly work from home, but, where possible, our staff and services remain available.”
