The project 'New Paradigms in Recognition' (PARADIGMS) aims to contribute to more effective policies for the recognition of foreign qualifications in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The project is exploring 2 important new developments:

  1. The implementation of automatic recognition;
  2. The recognition of experiences gained through new forms of learning (e.g. MOOCs and eclectic programmes), or through employment (either work experience or professional certification).

The project runs from 1 March 2016 to 28 February 2018. The first project results are expected to be published in spring 2018.

PARADIGMS is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
