The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) and NICHE entered a new phase on 1 July 2017 and will continue as 'Kennisontwikkelingsprogramma' (KOP).

This 5-year programme aims to advance the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals and institutions of higher and vocational education.

Start-up phase KOP - Short Courses

After publication of the subsidy and policy outline in the Staatscourant, the start of KOP will be confirmed. Please note that at this stage adjustments could still be made to comply with the official policy outline.

In the first KOP round there will be scholarships for Short Courses, with an application deadline of November 2017. 

Provisional country list

The November 2017 Short Course deadline is open for candidates from 30 partner countries. Further information regarding the other KOP countries and expected future deadlines will follow soon:

Country scans

Scans are performed to identify the specific needs of partner countries. The outcomes help to create an integrated policy framework. Stakeholders are informed when the outcomes are available.
