Application Deadlines

08 Feb 2010

The deadlines for admission to short courses vary and can change throughout the year. You should contact the Dutch institution directly for further information.

Letter of Admission

It may occur that the Dutch institution’s deadline for applying for admission to a course is later than the NFP deadline for fellowship applications. Nevertheless, fellowship applications cannot be taken into consideration without a letter of admission to a short course. On the short courses overview, each entry includes the application deadlines for academic admission.

Fellowship application deadlines

There are four fellowship application deadlines for short courses. A reference to the fellowship application deadline set by the Netherlands embassies and consulates can be found as categories on the short courses overview. The specific embassy deadlines for NFP applications can be downloaded.

A letter of admission should be in the candidate’s possession well before the embassy’s deadline for submitting fellowship applications. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to start the application procedure for admission as early as possible.

Selection of the candidates who will be awarded NFP fellowships for short courses takes place approximately one and a half months after the deadline.
