Omani Scholarship Programme

In view of the increasing interest from the Sultanate of Oman and the Netherlands to strengthen educational, socio-cultural and commercial ties, a scholarship scheme has been set up to enable young Omani nationals to study in the Netherlands.

The Omani Scholarships Programme for bachelor studies in the Netherlands (OSP-NL) aims to contribute to capacity building for the Omani society and to contribute to the international orientations and the knowledge about other regions and cultures among Omani students.
 

Coverage

Students receive either a partial or a full scholarship. A partial scholarship covers tuition fees, visa application fees and health insurance. A full scholarship additionally offers a monthly allowance. The scholarships are awarded for a full study period.
 

Conditions

The programme has been developed for recent high-school graduates who are interested in pursuing their Bachelor studies in the Netherlands. The scholarships will be awarded to excellent students.
 

Application

The Ministry of Higher Education of Oman offers the scholarships and is, hence, responsible for the selection of the students and the allocation of the scholarships. For more information about the selection procedure please vist the website of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Admission

Omani high school diploma's give direct admission to Dutch Universities of Applied sciences. For students wishing to enrol in a university, special arrangements need to be made with the university in question. Some tests and extra training on specific skills might be required.
