Msc Geoinformatics at ITC.

In September 2009 I started my MSc in Geoinformatics at ITC, the Netherlands, with the support of a Huygens Award, after finishing my Bachelor degree in China. Over the past days, I really experienced a lot in Holland. I experience new things everyday, broaden my knowledge, and practise the needed skills.

Adapting to a new and busy life

Now I have a really full schedule, like everyone here does. But I enjoy the busy life here. I feel energetic when I see dedicated students going to lectures on bicycles and having discussions in groups. My classmates come from all over the world. I like to study in such an international group. I guess this is the charm of Holland institutions for students all over the world. At ITC, I have met so many clever, funny and professional teachers and they are always willing to help. All of this makes me sure of my decision of coming here.

Holland is a peaceful and friendly place

Also, Holland is a peaceful and friendly place for living and study. With Huygens scholarship programme’s great help, I could focus on my studies, learn more skills and participate in research project without the financial worrisome. I really enjoy the busy life here, and I am looking forward to every new day.
