14.00 - 14.45 hrs  Opening of the Day of the International Student 2010
15.00 - 17.30 hrs  Workshops, presentations and cultural activities
17.45 - 18.30 hrs  Concluding plenary session in the World Forum Theatre, including fashion show with models in regional traditional dress

Buffet dinner and party

  • Music by a DJ and cover band Tour de Funk

 

Excursions

Participation in the morning excursions is optional. There are different excursions to choose from and you will get a reduction on the entrance fees. You need to arrange your own transportation to the location(s) or use public transport.

DIS Plaza

The DIS Plaza is the heart of the DIS. It is the place to find interesting information on various scholarship programmes. You can also meet representatives of a large number of alumni associations and various other interesting organizations.
 

Workshops, presentations and cultural activities

The programme for the DIS 2010 includes clog painting, ice-skating and traditional Dutch games, as well as a dance workshop and much more. There will also be more serious subjects on the programme, such as information on starting your own business or a training in ‘dealing with the Dutch’. You will even have the opportunity to take a crash course in the Dutch language.
 

DIS Lounge

There will be a special lounge where you can meet other international students and exchange experiences.
