Excursions Day of the International Student 2009
Participation in the morning excursions is optional. There are four different excursions to choose from: the Mauritshuis, Madurodam, the House of Representatives and the Scheveningen Coastal Information Centre. You need to arrange your own transportation to the location(s) or use public transport.
Museums
You can visit Madurodam and the Mauritshuis between 10.00 and 12.00 hrs for a reduced entrance fee, upon presentation of your DIS ticket.
House of Representatives
The exclusive visit to the Dutch House of Representatives is open to only 200 international students participating in the DIS. If you would like to take part, you need to be at the House of Representatives at Plein 2 (address) at 09.45 hrs at the latest. Entrance passes for this excursion will be handed out in order of arrival.
Information Centre
The visit to the Scheveningen Coastal Information Centre is also open to a limited number of students only. The tours in the centre will start at 10.00 and 11.00 hrs. Make sure that you are there on time. The address is: Strandweg 11, Scheveningen. The Centre is located next to Sealife.
If your choice of excursion is full, you can of course still visit one of the other sites.
