My Nuffic Certificate was issued recently but I now want to change my programme. Can I still use this certificate?

No, you will need to apply for a new certificate. Send us an email with your registration number and the full name of the new programme and host institution. You will receive an email once the assessment is finished.

I have applied for a Neso/Nuffic Certificate before in the past. This year I want to apply again. Can I send Nuffic an email with the name of the new programme?

No. You will have to use your old account to apply online. Once logged in, you can fill in a new application form and upload your documents.

Will the application for a Nuffic Certificate delay the procedure for my visa application and admission to the Dutch institution?

No. Your registration for the Nuffic Certificate should reach Nuffic at least four months before your planned departure to the Netherlands.

Does Nuffic’s assessment replace the Dutch higher education institution’s assessment?

No. The assessment of a student's qualification for a Nuffic Certificate is an independent procedure and has no influence on the admission procedures conducted by Dutch higher education institutions.
