I submitted my application four weeks ago. Why hasn’t my Nuffic Certificate been issued yet?

Please check first whether you have submitted all the required documents. The verification process will not start until we have received all relevant documents. In addition, the verification process may take more time around the winter/summer holidays and national holidays.
 

I would like to know whether my Nuffic Certificate has already been issued to my host institution.

You can check the status of your application via the online status tracker. You will also be informed by email as soon as Nuffic has issued your Nuffic Certificate and sent it to the higher education institution in the Netherlands.
 

Will you send the Nuffic Certificate to me personally?

No. Your Nuffic Certificate will be sent directly to the Dutch higher education institution concerned.
 

What is the period of validity of a Nuffic Certificate?

A Nuffic Certificate is valid for one study programme at one institution starting from a designated date.
 

I have received a letter from Nuffic that my certificate has been issued but my host institution has not received it. Can you check whether it has really been sent?

Please be patient. Once posted, it usually takes a few working days for a certificate to arrive on the desk of the visa officer of the host institution.
