Administration fees

04 Jul 2011

The following handling fees (administration fees) are charged by the Immigration Service.

For study purposes the following amounts apply:

  • € 300, when you enter the Netherlands with a provisional residence permit (MVV).
  • € 600, when you don’t need a provisional residence permit (MVV). Payment of this fee does not automatically mean that your application will be granted! The fee must be paid even if your application is turned down.
  • € 150 to extend a residence permit for students. A lower fee of €41 applies to Turkish citizens.
  • € 600 to change the purpose of your residence permit, depending on the purpose. A lower fee of €41 applies to Turkish citizens, regardless of the purpose.

If a new residence card has to be made, due to loss or theft, the immigration service will charge you € 250.
