Pilot Project
31 Aug 2009
MINT was first run as a pilot project in April and May 2008. The web tool was tested by 48 study programmes, departments and faculties of 15 different institutions.
New version of MINT entirely in English
The results of the pilot project were used to develop a new and improved version of the tool. Among other things, the new version of MINT is entirely in English. This will make it possible to perform international benchmarks at a later stage. It will also enable users to make comparisons with partner institutions in both the Netherlands and abroad.
In June 2009 the latest version of MINT was made available to all Dutch institutions.
International benchmarking
Some institutions will use the improved version of MINT to take baseline measurements now and subsequently monitor the development of their internationalization activities and policy over the years. Other institutions plan to use MINT to benchmark themselves against similar institutions and/or faculties in the Netherlands and abroad
