Modernisation of Higher Education
Tempus enables universities located in these regions to establish partnerships in the European Union. The main goal is to help restructure the higher education system in countries surrounding the European Union.
Tempus IV
The European Commission continues to consider higher education as a priority for its co-operation activities with EU neighbouring countries. The Tempus Programme, with its strong focus on institution-based university cooperation, therefore continues as Tempus IV over the 2007-2013 period.
Calls for proposals
The first Tempus IV call for proposals, for projects in the 2008-2009 academic year, expired on 28 April 2008. The second call expired on 28 April 2009. The third call expired on 9 March 2010. The fourth call expired on 15 February 2011. The fifth call expired 23 February 2012 and the selection results will be made available by the Executive Agency at the end of July 2012.
