On this page you will find the criteria your organisation must meet in order to submit an outline for a Tailor-Made Training. In addition, there are a number of regional and thematic priorities.
Criteria
If your organisation is interested in a Tailor-Made Training it must meet the following criteria:
-
You are based in one of the countries on the NFP country list valid at the time of application;
-
You are not a large industrial, commercial, international or multinational organisation, which can be assumed to have sufficient resources of its own to finance staff training.
-
You are not a bilateral donor organisation or a multilateral donor organisation
-
You are not an international NGO.
-
The field in which you operate is relevant to the sustainable development of your country.
-
The subject of the proposed Tailor-Made Training is relevant to the needs you have identified within your organisation.
-
The trainees you are proposing have a clear-cut, functional relationship with your organisation.
-
The trainees should be in a position to introduce their newly acquired skills and knowledge into your organisation.
-
You guarantee to continue to pay the trainees' salaries and to hold jobs for them during their participation in the training course.
Priorities
The TMT programme aims to allocate around 50% of the overall budget to training requests from organisations based in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In addition, priority will be given to training courses that:
-
address gender issues;
-
involve a local training provider.
-
are provided in your country or region.
