Participating countries

25 Aug 2011

Dutch development cooperation is focused on a limited number of countries. The countries that participate in the NPT have been selected by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs from among the countries with which the Netherlands has multi-year cooperation arrangements.

One of the basic characteristics of NPT is that the programme addresses higher education and training capacity relevant to sectors and themes targeted for Dutch bilateral support.

NPT is demand-oriented, which means that the relevant national authorities, the Netherlands Embassy and other stakeholders have a say in deciding the individual sectors and themes supported by the programme in their country. Below we inform you on the respective countries, themes and sectors.
