Project description

TSWRI has the mission to act as the long-term Human Resources Development institution of the MWRI. However, the TSWRI's capacity does not meet the requirements imposed by the technical developments in the water sector and by political, economic and environmental challenges. In addition, the Ministry must shift from supply management to demand management.

In the future, public funds for TSWRI's training activities might decrease due to the macro-economic situation of the country. Hence, the institution will need to find new clients outside the MWRI. This is urging TSWRI to offer attractive training packages, use modern learning techniques and develop an effective marketing strategy.

The project's overall objective is to increase the TSWRI's capacity to provide high-quality training for the human resources in the water sector. Specifically, it aims to modernise and increase the quality of training and staff capacity to achieve financial sustainability. Finally, it aims to attract more women as teaching staff and students.
