Support to education and training of the Indonesian National Police

The Netherlands and Indonesia have had long term collaboration between Netherlands Ministry of Interior Affairs and the Indonesian Police force. Collaboration was laid down in an MoU.
The MoU between the Indonesian police and Dutch police provides the basis for future cooperation. It involves the exchange of education, knowledge and experience on combating terrorism, trans national crime, security and public order, transportation and management & leadership.
NICHE intends to provide inputs on training and education to one of the yet-to-be-selected police academies. Building up teaching skills in new subjects, curricula development and communication/media skills training have preliminarily been identified as areas for cooperation.
