Below is an overview of the present status and the outcomes with regard to the capacity of universities teaching Business and Economics.
Benchmark of the present status
- The Business and Economics faculties of new universities are weak.
- Academic staff are not sufficiently trained.
- There is a lack of master and PhD degree holders.
Medium Term Outcome(s) – 4 years
- The selected HE institutions have improved their staff in the field of Business and Economics in qualitative and quantitative terms.
- The curricula have been improved.
Longer Term Outcome(s) – 8 years
- Higher Education Institutions in the field of Business and Economics have improved their professional standing and have become more attractive to new students, employers and/or research clients.
