TU Delft student solves Dutch ICU sedative problem

TU Delft Bachelor’s student Jelmer Vellema used his graduation research project to solve a tricky problem in the ICU of the HaGA hospital: the regular clogging of IV lines by lorazepam, a commonly used sedative. Through experimentation, Jelmer demonstrated that the problem can be solved by adjusting dilution.
