Promotion of Dutch participation in education fairs

Nuffic organizes the collective participation of Dutch higher education institutions in international intake fairs, where it provides generic information about studying in the Netherlands.

Nuffic is using online advertising to help promote Dutch participation. When a Dutch pavilion is set up at a fair we conduct advertising campaigns through Google Adwords. We also use the most popular social network in the country where the fair is being held.

The online adverts provide a link to the page on the Nuffic website featuring information about the fair and further links to the participating institutions. These organizations can tailor their own adverts, search terms and sites accordingly, thereby boosting their profile.

The initial results are already in: the web statistics for last March saw Greece (2,400 visitors) shoot up from 20th to 3rd place in the list of countries that regularly visit the Study in Holland website.
