2011 Nuffic Annual Conference to focus on multilingualism

15 Dec 2010

On 15 March 2011 the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam will be hosting the sixth edition of the Nuffic Annual Conference, entitled ‘Multilingualism: Oui? Yes! ¿Si? Ja!’.

Conference visitors can choose from various sessions linking internationalization and development cooperation with this year’s central theme: the added value of multilingualism in higher education. Session content was determined earlier this autumn by the organizing committee, consisting of Nuffic and several higher education institutions.

Nuffic has once again arranged for a number of interesting speakers at this year’s plenary session. The Annual Conference will also see the presentation of the third Orange Carpet Award. This prize is awarded to a higher education institution that has made an exceptional effort in welcoming international students and looking after their welfare.

Registration for the Nuffic Annual Conference opens at the beginning of February 2011.
