Nuffic wraps up 1 February application round

On 31 May Nuffic presented the final selection of the 1 February 2011 application round for NFP master's degree programmes, short courses and PhD studies.
Over 650 scholarships awarded
We selected 463 master candidates, 193 short course candidates and ten PhD candidates for a NFP fellowship. Congratulations to all!
A joint success
We would like to thank all the Dutch institutions and Netherlands embassies that participate in the NFP for their tremendous efforts to make the first deadline of 2011 a success.
The 1 February deadline was also the first deadline for which we used Scholarships Online (SOL). We had quite a few start-up difficulties, but fortunately we also managed to solve many problems along the way.
Invaluable input
This has been made possible by the participating Dutch institutions and Netherlands embassies, thanks to their invaluable input.
We are counting on their continued support and feedback to further improve Scholarships Online and to make it even more user friendly for all parties involved.
Towards more transparancy
We are convinced that SOL will eventually lead to a more fluid and, more importantly, transparent, application and selection process.
