Welcome to the Nuffic International Education Monitor. The Nuffic International Education Monitor offers the most complete and up-to-date overview of news and policy developments in international higher education.

The monitor tracks developments in almost 50 countries all over the world. It provides up-to-date country information and explores core themes in international higher education. For those involved or interested in international higher education, the international education monitor provides a one-stop shop for relevant information and also gives you the opportunity to discuss current trends and developments in the field.

The Nuffic International Education Monitor offers you five functionalities:

  1. The Nuffic Blog: this is the centrepiece of the International Education Monitor. Here Nuffic staff and external experts provide background information on current events and analyse ongoing developments in international higher education.
  2. The News Monitor: all the professional news you need in one location! Nuffic staff selects the most important news items in international higher education across the World Wide Web. We also provide you with the opportunity to access this news by country or by theme.
  3. The Policy Monitor: offers you a monthly wrap-up of significant policy developments, categorized by Dutch, European and international policy. 
  4. The Dossier Monitor: for each of the seven dossiers we provide you with relevant links, important reports and documents, and we track the news relevant for each dossier. The dossiers cover the main issues in international higher education.
  5. The Country Monitor: we provide you with up-to-date information on higher education in almost 50 countries. We offer you links to publications and to current developments and news items.
