StudentBase

16 Dec 2009

StudentBase has been closed as of 1 January 2010. We have learned that students are more interested in participating in existing communities. In times like these when connections and networking are so important, we encourage you to remain in touch. You are more than welcome to join one or more of the following communities:

International students

  • Study in Holland Facebook page
Future and current international students as well as alumni can exchange information on living and studying in Holland, find events, watch films, view photos, ask questions, join in discussions with other students and much, much more.
  • Holland Alumni network
International alumni and current international students are invited to join over 7,000 alumni and students who have already registered to this network.

Dutch students

Apart from popular communities such as Facebook, MySpace and Hyves, there are other sites Dutch students may find interesting:

  • Wilweg.nl
In addition to lots of practical tips, on this site you will find information about programmes and internships abroad, blogs and experiences from students that have either studied or done an internship abroad. You can also contribute your own experiences.
  • NEWS
NEWS brings together Dutch students wishing to study abroad full time, with Dutch students already abroad and with alumni of foreign universities.
  • Waarbenjij.nu
Here you can read travel stories or keep your own diary to keep friends and family at home abreast of your adventures.

Share your experiences

Are you an international student that has spent some time in Holland? Or are you a Dutch student studying or doing an internship abroad and would you like to share your experiences? Let us know!

International students can go to the Study in Holland website to leave your testimonial or sign up for the StudentPanel.

Dutch students can leave their testimonials at the WilWeg website or join our Studentenpanel.
