Nuffic Netherlands Education Support Office Desk in Taiwan
The Nuffic Netherlands Education Support Office Desk (Nuffic Neso Desk) in Taipei was officially founded in June 2001 by Nuffic. This was done in close cooperation with the Netherlands Foreign Trade Agency (EVD), the Netherlands Trade and Investment Office (NTIO) in Taipei, and Dutch educational institutions.
Administratively, the Nuffic Neso office is part of the NTIO office in Taiwan, which is the Netherlands diplomatic office dedicated to promoting economic relations between the Netherlands and Taiwan. Nuffic provides technical support and assistance with matters related to policy.
The Nuffic Neso Desk in Taipei has grown out of educational activities formerly conducted by the NTIO, which means that the office began with a good basis for networking and partnerships in Taiwan. The office is the sole representative of Dutch higher education in Taiwan, serving the interests of the institutions in the Netherlands.
