Forum on Higher Education Cooperation Opportunities between EU and GCC

The Cooperation Agreement between the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union outlines the prospects for cooperation in a whole number of fields including cultural exchanges and education. In line with the launch of a higher education programme for the GCC countries, the European Commission and the Gulf Cooperation Council will host a one-day forum on 7 December 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The aim of this forum is to highlight the tools and framework of EU cooperation in higher education and to specifically focus on available new opportunities for the GCC countries. The event is organized by the Gulf Research Center and brings together prominent speakers from both the EU and the GCC.
